JiaLian Mackey, a senior at Viewpoint High in California, finished fourth in the second heat of the Division 5 girls competition at the CIF-Southern Section prelims at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. Mackey, the reigning Division 5 champion, covered the 2.93-mile course in 19:48.2 to help Viewpoint triumph in the section with 39 points.
