Lyla Fedio, a junior at Redondo Union High in California, won the fourth heat in the Division 1 girls competition at the CIF-Southern Section prelims at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. Fedio covered the 2.93-mile layout in 17:54.5 to help Redondo Union take third in the section with 81 points.
