Simi Valley senior Wyatt Baxter finished second in his Division 2 heat at the Southern Section prelims at Riverside City Cross Country course. Baxter and Agoura's Cole Hoff both clocked 15:06, which ranked seventh and eighth overall among the division's two heats.
