Jason Parra, a junior at Long Beach Millikan High in California, won the second heat of the Divison 1 boys competition at the CIF-Southern Section prelims at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. Parra covered the 2.93-mile layout in 15:25.3 to contribute to Millikan taking third in the section with 80 points.
