Sultana junior Manuel Ramirez won his Division 3 heat at the Southern Section prelims at Riverside City Cross Country course. Ramirez clocked 15:01.6, the No. 2 time in the division overall among the two heats, trailing only San Luis Obispo's Callum Bolger, who ran 14:53.2 to win the other heat.
